Budget Friendly Shipping Station Electronics Starter Pack $2000 OFF!

Enjoy a Budget-Friendly Starter kit for $2000 Less!

I’ve gathered a list of products you can purchase from Amazon that will work well when opening your new pack and ship store. Presently, this list rings up at $1,722 before tax, which is $2,000 less than the package PostalMate recommends. The great thing about this list is how you will be able to return anything with ease through the Amazon Returns Program if need be. Everything shown has tested, reliable reviews, and would meet PostalMate specifications with the exception of the barcode scanners (Which I can assure you work well).

Use the links individually for my Amazon Affiliate Account. If you find anything else you want that's different from this list, let me know so I can add my code to it and make a few bucks!🤣

  1. All-in-One Computer, Monitor, Keyboard, & Mouse: In reality, all you’re looking for with a pack and ship store computer system is memory, processing speed, and that it runs on Windows 11 Pro. This hits everything you would need at a good price point.

  2. Cash Drawer: This cash drawer comes with under counter mounts which is a must have to keep your cash out of the view of the public. You do not need a drawer that hooks up to the computer, all that does is open the drawer after each transaction which, from experience, I can tell you is honestly a pain. This drawer opens by lock and key which is plenty fine at 1/10th the price of the high-end drawers

  3. Mettler Toledo Scale: There are much cheaper options, but these will be easier and last much longer than the cheaper options on amazon and integrate with all of the shipping softwares.

  4. Thermal Receipt Printer: This printer comes with everything you would need to quickly and easily print our receipts for your customers at a third of the cost of the “recommended” printers. Check out the great reviews and see for your self.

  5. Thermal Label Printer: This is the model I used in my store and costs $500 from the manufacturer. This link brings you to a renewed version with great reviews. These machines last forever, and I am sure these will work great and a quarter of the price. Would not recommend going with a super cheap model that you see elsewhere on Amazon, at minimum make sure it works with rolls of labels not fan folds. You can get free rolls from Fedex that match Zebra Printers. If you want to purchase this new, the link is here.

  6. Surge Protector Keep all of your electronics safe with this 8 space surge protector.

  7. USB Extender No computer on earth has enough USB ports to plug everything you will need into it. I use this extender and it works great for all of my equipment in my shipping station.

  8. 2D Barcode Scanner: You will need to scan labels and QR codes. I have both of these and they work just fine. With any scanner, you have to use the manual to scan codes to fix any issues such as the scanner adding prefixes like mine did.

    1. Wired

    2. Wireless

  9. Scanner Stand: Cheap stand I use to keep my scanners in a same convenient place.

  10. OPTIONAL Customer Facing Monitor:Postalmate gives you the option to show customers different things you see on your screen, or run a slide show with Ads on the customer facing monitor. Completely optional, but a fun touch to any shipping store.
